Currently, if a FH is not the contracting FH they do not have a way to report the death of a policy holder on Digiclaim. I would love to see us provide a feature that would let them put in all the same information that we require for a death claim submission, but when they click submit, it sends a notification to Incoming Claims to process the quote. The claim would then be moved to the "Pending Death Quote" queue that I proposed in an earlier idea.
While it would not change that we have to process the quote in-office, it would reduce the number of hands the request has to go through, and it would open the possibility to report those deaths 24/7 as well.
And, just like with the normal death claim submission, it would be amazing if we could have an automatic follow-up note in GIAS.

These quotes are going to be handled in the call center so the emails and other notification would be sent to the call center. This is a great idea. It is a lot like the "submit a claim" section on the "contact us" page that used to be on our website.
